My computer appears to have a DHCP server running on it, so the tech guys shut down my network jack and came in to have a look at it.
Except they couldn't do anything but prove that my computer is running a DHCP server, leaving me to figure out how to get rid of it...
Any ideas?

Edit /etc/rc.conf so it says:
dhcpd_enable="NO"

I realize I forgot to mention what my computer is running Vista Premium.
Would a DHCP server mess up a wireless network? I want to know if it's a waste of time to get a wireless card or not. I need to update my Virus definitions and see if a virus is causing this.
