I'm running Vista Home Premium on my laptop and my USB port drivers are failing to install. The Standard Universal/Enhanced PCI to USB host controller is missing.
All USB ports don't work, and device manager has yellow exclamation marks on the USBs.
Please help?

Vista is trying to tell you that using USB drives can impose security risks. And it's disabling the ports by default. It's by design. There's no possibility to disable that behaviour in Home Premium, you'd need Business or Ultimate for that.

I'm not the OP, but I thought you were being serious. I actually had to look it up.

See? When talking about Vista it isn't that far fetched.

But ya gotta love Microsoft for pushing a poorly stable OS on the public so they can act as a mass bugchecker for us.

Likewise with Mac.
Speaking of which, anyone else have to restart their iPod every so often after it freezes (no, I'm not an Apple fag. A friend got a new one and gave me their old one free)?
