[1]download SBagen http://uazu.net/sbagen/
[2]create a file named "Astral.sbg" with content(just these two lines)

[3] open the sound file using Sbagen.exe. (it should be associated with .sbg file format)
[4] if you use:
speakers:place them far apart, point at different directions. set volume to maximum which is comfortable.
headphones:ensure that you're not hurting your ears, set volume that is significant above background noise.
Note: binaural beats work best when you turn off any surround sound or 3-D effects, or equalization that your sound card software uses. The binaural beat is a 3D effect by itself.
[5] before projection attempt, relax all muscles. It likely you will not succeed at separation at first try.
 many attempts are possible  and you will train your astral body eventually to phase-in as reflex.
[6]relaxation stage: mentally count to 10, by each number try to defocus from the body and listen more to the binaural beat.
[7] as you listen you may notice background noise like a faint radio station(imagine an Astral Radio) trying to break through(it commonly called tinnitus/phantom sounds).
[8]focus on these phantom sounds, if you get distracted by the body or hear nothing, focus on binaural beats than search for background sounds again. do not break relaxation or tense muscles at this stage.
[9]phantom sounds stage: you should focus on the content of the sound, try to discern various tones and amplify them above background.
[10]energy focus stage:at the point of deep trance you will feel vibrations pulsing through you, its it very subjective experience, with some people having electricity shoot through them or just minor twitching, but you will feel your astral body filling with energy.
simply witness the process and allow it to "flow". if you break trance, return to point [6] and repeat. Focus on your third eye/brow chakra if you have problems with trance.
[11]sleep paralysis stage:this stage is also subjective, with some people feel locked in their bodies with some just having feeling stiff limbs.
as you feel vibration coursing your astral body your physical body will feel distorted but locked. this is normal and you can proceed to separation techniques.
[12]separation stage:many visualization and mental command techniques can be applied. if you don't succeed staying at the point of trance and repeating the process will be much easier. you can try these as exercises as much time as you like.
1. feeling your astral body by trying to move it out mentally, as if it was trapped inside you (mental command)
2. imagining gravity wells above/below pushing you out(gravity boost)
3. trying to visualize yourself away from body or in different position(astral double)
4. changing focus from your head->outside to outside->head(inversion of focus)
5. moving your focus point from your head to any place on the body. the purpose is to train astral movement (focus change)
6. growing limbs. try to touch far object by stretching your limbs like rubber(try not to tense real muscles).(rubber hands)
7. spinning around yourself(horizontally at the length of spine). try to move yourself like a vortex around your body(spinning)
8. contraction/growth. feeling/imagining your astral body shrink or grow on command.(contraction)
9. vibrational push. just allow/amplify vibrations from [10] to push you out.(vibrational push)
