Even if that had been the case, wouldn't it be interesting that the opportunity to recreate had come at that time, and not a couple hundred years prior or later? And if so many of you were unaware of this in 2007, what do you think the likelihood is that anyone remembered it in 1948? And as for your theory that the UN was composed only of the victors of WWII, Cuba, Haiti, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand, Paraguay, India- all these were members of the UN by 1948. Learn some history before you start coming up with conspiracy theories.
Also, this says nothing of the other prophecies- was Ninevah destroyed less than ten years after it was fortold that this would happen because of a self-fulfilling prophecy aswell? Babylon- a city in the middle of the desert- being reduced to swampland?
I find it amazing that you speak of open-mindedness, truth, and logic, and yet, when confronted with undeniable proof that you're wrong, you still adhere religiously to your beliefs.
The evidence (enough, anyway) has been presented, and there's plenty more. If you want to "disprove" it (good luck) then do it evidence to the contrary, not with petty whining.
