e doesn't contain an infinite amount of information, you're confusing information with representation
whether or not the universe contains an infinite amount of infomration depends on how you define information, on whether o not the believe the universe is infinite in size, and on whether or not you believe that spacetime is quantized. Even if the universe is infinite and not quantized it might contain a finite amount of information since this does not preclude it from having a simple representation.

is there a limit to the number of ideas that the human mind can think up? I read somewhere that its limited by the number of neurons in the brain or some shit, somewhere in the billions.
