I've been using my free time for developing a new textboard in Scheme, but apparently the DistBB guy got ahead from me and I lost all motivation after that.

Get back to work. Seriously, why would you lose the motivation because some other guy is working on a similar project? Programming is fun. You certainly have some new ideas, we want to see them. Right now there is no Scheme BBS (that I know of).

Let's make a dozen implementations. Anonymous boards are an excellent channel of communication, one of these days, the West will discover them.

My own BBS software is almost ready. I've started working on it when the captchas appeared, and I'm slow and lazy. It's a masterpiece, an instant classic. So beautiful, I want to cry. I'm not even sure I should release it at all. Maybe you guys are not worth it.
