Yes, the spam and FV could be filtered, for the most part, and I did. The particular annoyance of the fartist, of whom there were few imitators jumping on the bandwagon, if any, was only so because the board was so shitty at the time. It doesn't detract from my point. That intense shitposting is a natural, if grating, feature of /prog/. You should be accustomed to it by now, and just because it's /g/ros and textboard shitposters smearing the board with /g/ meh-mehs it doesn't make it fundamentally worse.

You just grew weary of this dynamic, and rather than taking a break like any sane person would do, you made it worse for everybody, and this time it'll last. Great fucking going.
