Teach Yourself Haskell in 24 Hours

Name: Anonymous 2013-06-26 9:54

Is there a book like that? Which would teach everything one needs to write a Firefox level software in Haskell.

I seriously want to learn Haskell, but don't want to waste a lot of time on all perquisites.

LEL.
Here's the fastest way to get a grip on Haskell:
1. Turn on ghci and follow the first 10 chapters in http://learnyouahaskell.com/chapters
2. Learn to use monads with this: http://monads.haskell.cz/html/index.html

There is even a Medical Education and Nuclear Physics in 24 Hours books: http://www.rapidlearningcenter.com/physics/high-school-physics/24-Nuclear-Physics.html

why Haskell is harder than the fucking nuclear rocket science?

Yes.

I wonder if people read crap like that and think they're experts afterwards.

I do. And I never had any serious education. All my programming knowledge comes from short few-page tutorials.

I havent even studied in school.

Although I do read Paul Graham's On Lisp textbook. But it too passes for a 24-hours book, cramming a lot of info into single page.

We need more books like that, and less academic theory with tuple-over-an-alphabet bullshit, where byte array works just well.

Yeah. You wasted 5 years studying math, kike.

And I'm better scientist and engineer than you anyway, despite having zero education.

No, you cannot do science, and your Xynta is not practical. These are all your dreams, in reality you do not have a job, a business, or any scientific publications.

Name: Anonymous 2013-06-26 12:52

Rename it Schlomta, that's what it is now.
