ANSI just announced it, and Microsoft, GNU, Apple, Borland, BSD, and Intel had not only planned to stop maintain their respective compilers, but will be removing the ability to compile C as C++ as well. It's a sad day in programming history.

Just because Microshaft doesn't support C99/C11 in their compiler doesn't mean it's deprecated.

Meanwhile, Java is still very popular. I don't understand people.

The Yiddishe-kike plan is to make it illegal for all Gentiles to use any Turing-complete programming language. We will have to use their sand-boxed domain specific languages, forever a slave to their will. Only the chosen ones will be permitted to interface with the underlying magic of the universe.
Without Turing-completeness, they will forever be safe from us organizing an AGI uprising that could topple their New World Order .

The UN just outlawed all use of C and assembler except with an official license, and only for implementation of the JVM, which all other languages must run on. Oh wow what the fuck, that seems like they wildly exceeds their authority, but they did it.
