A few successful browser games will make you a living from advertising. Therefore if you are looking for a job, you haven't written any successful (i.e. half-decent) games, and you are not worth hiring.

In this economy there are millions of un(der)?employed CS graduates, so not having a degree in CS puts you in an impossible position to get a job in it. You'd need to know someone or forget it.
