I want to start a botnet, but I only know PHP and JS. Is it possible to write a botnet in either of those?
I want to have them work as proxy servers, spam bots, and run metasploit to make new bots. Should I just ship the PHP interpreter with the net? Or perhaps I should have my network run in the browser as JS....

You don't wanna make that rick roll?
Don't click, it'll make your D..k small?!
rep'n /prog/ like it's /top-dog/, but it's currently a shithole?!?
(take it away anon..)

I don't know why I'm telling you this, but when RFI/LFI exploits were big, people were loading PHP bots on to those vulnerable servers. The bots fsockopen()'d to an IRC server to get commands, or file_get_contents() a .txt file with commands from some HTTP server.
You could still probably do this nowadays, but you'd probably stumble across many honeypots and you won't find RFIs/LFIs in big numbers anymore.
Botnets are lame anyway. And if you're in a western country, they're an easy way to get yourself into prison (if you're not careful).
