I don't know how similar it is to high school but I got A,A,C in UK college if that counts.
I'm currently at the beginning of my third year of BSc computer science, with a 79.5% average in the second year and a view to continue with a PhD.
Engineer's degree in software engineering from a moderately shitty university. Engineer is is halfway between Bolognese process Bachelor and Master.
I was considering going for a PhD in applied math during the first couple of years, but then it became obvious that I would just throw away three more years of my life without gaining or contributing anything of value. If I went for a PhD I would still be eating instant ramen in a tiny room and saving money to buy a second 19" LCD monitor.
Instead I am eating oatmeal and vegetables in a tiny one-room flat and saving money to emigrate the fuck out of my shit country, which would be many times easier if I had a PhD.
