As much as I respect Linus, he is locked into the unix way of doing things. It would be nice to see him work on experimental kernels, but it looks like he would rather spend the rest of his life tweaking his baby.

You can easily run Linux without GNU. GNUtards just make it difficult and try to perpetuate the myth that you need a bunch of their applications, or you aren't running a ``full operating system''.
