How to learn Visual Basic?

First of all, yes I do know VB is shit, but at my school, its mandatory to use it, so I have to learn it...even if I want to learn other languages. So I have to ask, what is best way to learn it? What books should I look up, or maybe some internet courses, maybe even videos that would explain it best. Thanks for help.

I'd like to point out that Common Lisp is a better JavaScript than JavaScript and a better Pascal than Pascal. Also, Perl is as terrible as PHP.
