So your point is that you don't like the concept of privilege because you feel that it exists to make you feel guilty? You have no one to blame but yourself if it makes you feel the negative emotion of guilt. Privilege is a fairly simple and obvious concept. Only a fool would deny its existence. Have to go into a building with stairs and no ramp or elevator? Welp, you're kind of fucked if you don't have functioning legs. Should you feel guilty for having legs? I don't think so. Again, you are bringing a persecution complex into this. This isn't about you. Privilege is an abstraction that describes patterns in society. That is all. I'm sorry that you are afraid of other people being able to analyze society.

It's funny that you both recommend the concept of privilege be ignored. But it makes sense. Those with power fear losing it. Knowledge is power. Therefore, those with power will discourage acquisition of knowledge.

Well, they are kind of dumb. You can't blame people for being privileged. For one thing, it can't be controlled, and even then there is nothing to be blamed for. You can be blamed for reinforcing the system that grants yourself privilege and excludes others. And you can be blamed for being ignorant of your own privilege. Many people use the fallacy, it was easy for me, so it must be for you, without realizing their own privilege.

Any abstraction is useful in analyzing the phenomena they describe. It is useful as an individual to simply be aware of how the world works. I suppose you would question the usefulness of physics if it happened to be controversial enough for you to take offense from it.

It is up to the individual what they want to take away from studying privilege. But all I hear from you is that you have power and you fear losing it. This isn't an argument, and has no bearing on the theory itself. I guess you are saying the theory is well founded, but it should not be studied because you find it to be dangerous. If that is the case, you may as well burn books.
