Yes, there's no point if one tries to speak about equality but still segregates people. And these balancing counter-privileges are really stupid: people don't see that they're still being [politely] segregated.
I see these affirmative actions as emergencial and temporary acts, but I don't know. I guess people should just be educated to respect others, and to ignore disrespectful actions. Violence or employment matters could be handled by current laws.
