Wooden flip-flops

sup /prog/,
I want to buy myself a good old pair of traditional japanese kicks. It's some kind of sandals made of wood or shit, you saw that: Master Roshi, he wears that sometimes. Do you have any experience in wearing them? Also can you recommend a good shop?

I don't walk much, it would be shoes for programming basically. Sometimes go to the fridge but not much further. So comfort is not a big deal.

I saw two advantages in wooden sandals:
- The foot is in the fresh air, relaxed, no socks, no constraints
- Wood is a natural anti-bacteria material. Less odors.

Why do the Japanese keep wooden devices that hold a 1 bit state?

So what kind of shoes do you wear for programming? I guess the unemployed garage coders wear slippers, but you can't wear that if you work in an office. Barefoot coding is great too.

I use flip flops because they can hold 1 bit of state each.

barefoot here, although sometimes my tattered paint legs are long and they partially cover the bottoms of feet. It is ideal for sitting cross legged.

Don't change these.
