Wooden flip-flops

I want to buy myself a good old pair of traditional japanese kicks. It's some kind of sandals made of wood or shit, you saw that: Master Roshi, he wears that sometimes. Do you have any experience in wearing them? Also can you recommend a good shop?

So what kind of shoes do you wear for programming? I guess the unemployed garage coders wear slippers, but you can't wear that if you work in an office. Barefoot coding is great too.
