I propose the abandonment of term "abstraction", as it's a loaded word, con-artists and politians tend to use.
For all programming purposes the term "generality" could be used instead, as being general doesn't mean being "abstract" or believeing in something that doesn't exist. General simply disjunctively includes more cases than particular. Abstraction, on the other hand, depends of the concept of "infinity" and leads to more vagues terms, like "omnipotent" or "everything".
