Terminology Proposition

Name: Anonymous 2011-08-03 2:38

I propose the abandonment of term "abstraction", as it's a loaded word, con-artists and politians tend to use.

For all programming purposes the term "generality" could be used instead, as being general doesn't mean being "abstract" or believeing in something that doesn't exist. General simply disjunctively includes more cases than particular. Abstraction, on the other hand, depends of the concept of "infinity" and leads to more vagues terms, like "omnipotent" or "everything".

Also, what the fuck is "abstract art"? Never understood it. Looks rubbish anyway. I prefer realistic art.

Obviously, it's too deep for you to understand abstract art.

It should be noted, that most abstract artists have jewish surnames, like "Malevich" or "Kandinsky".

You still don't make sense. You need to dumb things down for me, maybe even abstract the idea.
