I know hardware better than most people. I know how the difference between dual channel and DDR. I know all the acronyms, and the implications of each one. I am A+ certified as well.
I am great at computer science. I even wrote an algorithm for handwriting detection in both Flash, and VB in my spare time.
I understand the pros/cons of file systems, it just doesn't meaningfully affect me beyond "should I make this flash drive FAT32 or NTFS?" (Hint: almost always NTFS).
I understand the difference between scripting languages, I just generally don't script, because I don't need to.
People come to me asking for advice with programming.
I'm not a programmer, and none of my work involves any programs that even have a linux port available, and no they don't run in WINE.
But I choose windows. Wanna know why? Because it just works. In every context. With every program. With every file format. With every piece of hardware, and every driver. Can you say the same about Linux? Or even OSX?

Basically, I am a real computer expert, /prog/ is what they call elitist. Linux Weenies have honestly convinced themselves that they are superior to all other users. How far do you think that smugness will get you in the real world?

Shitty trolls go into /g/, and this is not /g/.

I'm a /prog/ level programmer. I don't talk with you Indians in IT consulting, I don't read your ``development magazine'' with new releases I saw two years ago. I don't need to go to a club full of fat smelly people to watch enterprise presentations all over again. I've got fuckin' live feed torrents of the newest lectures you haven't even heard of, and hard copies of SICP being shipped to my house so I can pray the Sussman. Go read your ``VB.NET Tutorial'' on MSDN, I'm downloading SIGGRAPH doujinshi and reading the fucking raws.
You keep wearing your ``geek'' T-shirts and shit, socializing with your weeaboo friends. I'll be walking by, Anonymous. You'll never know that a Knight of the λ-calculus, an EXPERT PROGRAMMER, had passed you by, because I suppress my power level.

You talk so much about programming, but you cant talk about hacking because you cant actually do anything. I run a hacked network of computers that I programmed to click on googles ads in my secret website. I even write my own viruses to make people get hacked into my network. I work at home and have a bunch of screens showing me what people on my network are doing on their screens. I can even set it so that i can see the code of their computers. can you guys do any of that? I dont think so. I bet you dont know where all the websites real hackers hang out are either? if you name them, I just might tell them that marshviperX sent you.

Some people, when confronted with another lonely, soulless evening alone, think ``I know, I'll go on /prog/.'' Now they have countless problems.

I'm fat, I live in a room littered with dirty dishes and empty soda bottles, I play WoW every waking hour, and know as much about computers as can be gleaned from the Fry's catalog in the Sunday paper. I don't have the intellect, creativity or talent to be a computer scientist, but I insist on forming opinions about those that do and critiquing the tools they use.

"Hackers" disgust me. They think they understand hacking, computer science. "Real Hacking" sites are where people go to talk about which rootkits they donwloaded and who's botnet software they're using. It's disgusting and the fact that they think that they're intellectuals is even more so and I have a strong feeling that IHBT
