I know hardware better than most people. I know how the difference between dual channel and DDR. I know all the acronyms, and the implications of each one. I am A+ certified as well.
I am great at computer science. I even wrote an algorithm for handwriting detection in both Flash, and VB in my spare time.
I understand the pros/cons of file systems, it just doesn't meaningfully affect me beyond "should I make this flash drive FAT32 or NTFS?" (Hint: almost always NTFS).
I understand the difference between scripting languages, I just generally don't script, because I don't need to.
People come to me asking for advice with programming.
I'm not a programmer, and none of my work involves any programs that even have a linux port available, and no they don't run in WINE.
But I choose windows. Wanna know why? Because it just works. In every context. With every program. With every file format. With every piece of hardware, and every driver. Can you say the same about Linux? Or even OSX?


Basically, I am a real computer expert, /prog/ is what they call elitist. Linux Weenies have honestly convinced themselves that they are superior to all other users. How far do you think that smugness will get you in the real world?

"Hackers" disgust me. They think they understand hacking, computer science. "Real Hacking" sites are where people go to talk about which rootkits they donwloaded and who's botnet software they're using.
