how does being called a code monkey make you feel?

I left my feelings at the entrance of 4chan as to not disturb my surfing experience.

The last time I overheard someone referring to me and my fellow coworkers as ``code monkeys,'' I promptly quit my job in disgust voicing my dissent.

I now work at a technology company where the software developers are treated like royalty.

Programmers in most (if not in all) companies are code monkeys. It's just, when you are young, you believe in all those stuff (scientists, being engineer, algorithms etc), then you go to work and see some shit. Then you go somewhere else, things are different, because they have different shit. It's all over and over.

You have two options. First, you give up and you become manager, or just find other hobby and work as a programmer is only to get money, that's for about 95% of developers. Second, you work and after job you do something related to programming, that is interesting or you just try to find interesting things in your job.

That's the  context of code monkeys and real programmers.

Or you get a real job and only program as a hobby on your own time at your own pace.

Or option number three, you work at a company that respects software developers because nearly everyone in management are software developers themselves and/or the success of the company lies within the delivery of quality software. Yes, it's harder to find such a job, but they exist.

Or you work on open source projects in your spare time, and only use your job for paying bills.

I have no imagination or ambition, so code monkying is actually my ideal job.

C can be a bit understanding with pointers and assign things appropriately, but when you added another level (arrays) I think the assignment was forced into something that didn't work. That's my take on it. I think I will put up a bounty so you can get a better answer.

Even with the loading bug, I could beat the Moriya Trial (the only 5 star dungeon of the first six you get initially). The most surprising thing is that I could beat it in my first try and without partners (you can bring two if you want).
It is a 50F dungeon, but it is similar to the 99F in term of difficulty.

Don't change these.
