Godaddy Ftp

Hey /prog/, I need help from some of you godaddy users. I want to upload some files, and I've tried both fireftp and filezilla. Neither are working, all it says is cannot connect.

Under the ftp control panel on godaddy.com, it says that I have an ftp account up and running. I personally use 1and1.com, and connect to my domain fine, however I just can't get this to work.

Anyone know any web hosts that don't start delete fucking everything as soon as they receive a complaint about, say, torrent files, or because some page in the butthole of a forum contains *gasp* the word "nigger"?

I ended up figuring it out, I had to enter the IP rather than the hostname for some reason.

If you are so willing to do this kind of work, why don't you do odd jobs like this? Where I am there are new things like this everyday on craigslist. People always overpay.
