I'm sorry, but as a mental health professional, I don't necessarily support this. I do encourage folks to be tolerant of other folks that may have disabilities, BUT folks on the Austistic Spectrum are just as subject to criticism as anyone else. Appropriate social behaviors and responses are drilled all the time in schools and other behavioral interventions.

Just because you have a reason why you did something does not excuse the action. Be gentle with everyone you meet, but if you're offended, feel free to go out and say it. Otherwise, no one will ever learn from their mistakes whether they have a disability or not.
