AUTISM

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-03 12:14

I'm sorry, but as a mental health professional, I don't necessarily support this. I do encourage folks to be tolerant of other folks that may have disabilities, BUT folks on the Austistic Spectrum are just as subject to criticism as anyone else. Appropriate social behaviors and responses are drilled all the time in schools and other behavioral interventions.

Just because you have a reason why you did something does not excuse the action. Be gentle with everyone you meet, but if you're offended, feel free to go out and say it. Otherwise, no one will ever learn from their mistakes whether they have a disability or not.

I went to reddit the other day, the first time I had ever been there and here is what I thought:
It's almost as if it's a stackoverflow like system for /b/tards. A dump of the surface web. Shallow as fuck. Absolutely horrible, and yet, I understand it's popularity immediately . .  but this is a narrow judgement, I know. Reddit has showed with me some very interesting topics of which I'm greatful but I remain unconviened it's worth my time. Digg is equality stupid. Hail prog.
