my related note was perfectly valid: what if i choose to replace the javascript on a page with my own userscript; shouldn't i then have the option to block the foreign javascript while still maintaining the ability to run my own javascript?
my only recourse seems to be traversing the DOM tree and removing all events, and this is a hassle. anyways goodbye
