How often do you shower?

once a week and with tea tree oil shampoo only. theres a river close by to my house where i usually take a dip almost daily.

If you want to save water, running a whole river past your house is not the way to do it.

I rinse myself off on most days (those when I leave the house).

A bit less than once a week. During summer when it's hot maybe every 3 to 4 days. I just get too sweaty.

I shower daily, I don't like people that have greasy faces and hair, I used to shower, but not use shampoo and when I look around I can tell who does the same or doesn't shower at all.

About once a week...and now you have a placebo effect. You suddenly view me as "dirty" when you never would've drawn to that conclusion if I didn't tell you that. I guarantee I smell better than you and am more clean. Some people naturally stink and some people naturally emit little to no body odor. How much you shower won't change that.

Daily, with rare exceptions (more than once per day, or none) depending on circumstances (example: broken pipe = no water = no showed, or if there's a reason to take more than one per day).

He's asking because he feels guilty and needs to defend his filthy habits in order to feel better.   Believe me I moved from michigan where most well adjusted people shower daily or every other day to olympia wa.. which is a cool place, but for various reasons weekly seems to be the required minimum.. and yes you can smell lots of the people here.  Even cool well adjusted likable people.

I'd like to note that I've traveled quite a bit and places where people shower less regularly than the USA also have people who smell.

And yes some people don't produce much funk.. my girlfriend is one such person, but from her and experience with myself,  Anyone can be made to stink 15 minutes out of the shower given the right circumstances.. particularly from the ass, feet and armpits areas.

So please quit denying that you should shower more than once a week just because sometimes you can go a week and not stink.

I don't see a need to shower since I never go out.

When I do need to go out or someone comes over I shower, that's it.
