C or C++

I'll be honest, i know shit about programming, despite that i'm supposed to study programming for like 6 years now. Well, i can do very basic stuff, but seriously not that much.

So my question is. If i started learning C, should i change to C++ after a while? And if yes, then when?

Anyone with half a brain could turn ``C++'' into ``Sepples'', especially with no mention of C++ elsewhere in a post.
