C or C++

I'll be honest, i know shit about programming, despite that i'm supposed to study programming for like 6 years now. Well, i can do very basic stuff, but seriously not that much.

So my question is. If i started learning C, should i change to C++ after a while? And if yes, then when?

When someone says that they're new to programming (or /prog/), they don't know what "sepples" is.  You're telling them to avoid something that they've never heard of, so they probably think C++ is fine.
