Why are the core of Linux so scared of declaring the SYSTEM V specification obsolete, and form an ABI base that's actually founded in modern architectures?!
It's like they are clenching to a poop they believe is golden. It's just not, so they are constantly smeared in feces
It's so tragic and ironic, because the UNIX-HATERS were right, and they were years ago. Linux could actually be good if they just cut the crap
This is not my area of expertise. Could you perhaps write a couple of lines about the limitations of the System V ABI, so that I can parrot them in causal conversations later to sound smart?

I don't see how the first can be considered important. The second is arguably a good idea which probably doesn't appeal that much to the powers that be.

i actualy work on an interpreted OS userspace using the linux kernel, its just toy program for now.
but the idea in itself is interesting enough to try it.
