Is there a good tutorial/walkthrough/pdf explaining how to write your own? (preferred C++)

i want to start developing a game engine and thought i have a shitty render engine and i'd start the physics one to test stuff out..

opinions?

cheers 3 i will look and extrapolate methods from other source codes.

I'm only doing it for fun/practice, I'm sure a pre-existing one is going to be better than mine, but niggah be trippin' if he thinks i ain't gone do it myself..

Will you release it?
And if so under what license? I prefer the Goatse Prostate License.
