A good current example of this mixture is /r9k/ - perhaps a robot overlord would be a welcome addition to /prog/.
We all know how that turned out.
I think /prog/ should create something (not something pointless like anoncoreutils, something that’s actually fun - a game is prime example).
We keep suggesting things like this, but we haven't had a really good contest thread since last august. If anyone wants to suggest a /prog/ject, I and I'm sure others would be happy. It doesn't have to be a game, and I certainly would prefer if it weren't
