I just beat Skid Vicious. Boy, he sure is butthurt!

Incidentally, has anyone attempted to reimplement it? Like the train tycoon deluxe open source clone, or openciv. I think an improved STUNTS 4D DRIVING would be a far more interesting and manageable project for us than the usual FV-quality RPGs.

Edit: http://www.ultimatestunts.nl/ looks like shit. Let's do this boys. So, do we use nomadic Haskell or Lisp?

I think it makes more sense to improve Ultimate Stunts rather than start a dubious new project.

To compile UltimateStunts, you'll need a UNIX-compatible system with a c/c++ compiler.

Need I say more?

I'll start:

Oh, I see. It appears you use an inferior system.

My gay what?

Looks acceptable to me. You could very likely tweak the physics, graphics and interface to a point where it doesn't suck if you wanted to.

Which means it's less of a programming program and more of an artistic challenge.

I use the Glorious! Haskell Compiler, not a fucking decades-old c/c++ compiler piece of shit.

Fuck that game was awesome. Yes, someone has remade it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrackMania

See track editor, etc.

And, do you honestly believe that making a racing game (with a fully integrated level creator) is less work than making a JRPG? IHBT

You can't fix the physics bugs, it'll be shit without them. You should however implement a feature that will magically import all the tracks I designed that are currently residing on fading 3.5" floppies somewhere in my parents' house.
