/prog/ - Javascript help

Hey bros. I can't believe I'm doing this... Usually I'M the one GIVING advice to /prog/, but I'm really in a jam here bros.
I want to make a page like this: http://www.tinychan.org/slinky/ but static. Can anybody tell me where I could find a similar script that will let me drag the page around like that? Even the name of the function would be helpful. I want to make a image gallery like this, except tied in with lightbox.js for display of larger images.
Any help guys??

not OP, but i want to learn javascript.
the thing is that all javascript books seem designed for web developers and therefore spend chapters explaining bullshit like what a function and an object is.
you guys know any good javascript resources for programmers?

As far as the majority of people are concerned, the only real reason to help is for some form of personal gain. It could be monetary, physical, reputation or more unlikely, for the hell of it. The images are being called from xml files, the whole script is based pulling images from uploads, I want my images to be pulled from a static folder. I can't find out how to do this from his code. The point is how the page looks is like how I want my page to look, what is the javascript I would need?
