K&R, aka The C Programming Language, is a great book for learning C. Is there an equivalent or better book for learning C++? Many thanks, /prog/.

C++ Primer. Also, The C++ Programming Language.

I would say that part of what makes K&R so good is that knowing C can be rewarding. So no, there's nothing like it for C++.

Useless bores. Try with c++ annotations! It fucking works!

You may also get it by installing the c++-annotations package on your debian/ubanto system.

I don't think that anybody should be subjected to the Sepples equivalent to K&R. That would be cruel.

Don't change these.
