Running a windows game on NDS

I was wondering how far you can go with nintendo ds homebrews.

Would it be possible to run
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Moon_Wars
this game for an example?

Is it possible and if so what is needed and if not why isn't possible?

why isn't possible?
A PC is a strongar machine than DS. Duh.
HIBT?

But all PC games aren't that special.
The requirements for the game of his example was

256 MB (Minimum)/512 MB
(Maximum), Direct X 9.0,
Pentium III 800 MHz
(Minimum)/Celeron 2 GHz
(Maximum), 640 x 480 VGA

I don't know what hardware a DS have but there are plenty of shitty PC games out there you know?

It's not possible unless you have the source code and you can port it.

Even if you could somehow emulate the game on the DS, it would be so slow that you wouldn't be able to play it.

Wouldn't you have to write something to replace Direct X?
I am fairly sure that Direct X doesn't support the graphic cards DS's have.
And I suppose that you would have to do the same with the sound.

I don't know anything the DS homebrew scene but have they made software to replace such things?

Learn about the PC's architecture and the DS's architecture to understand why it's not possible to do in real time unless you have the source and are willing to port it.

Even the shittiest of PC games won't run on a DS. Let's face it, the DS is just not a serious gaming platform, and it never will be. White people who know better (and want to actually play their games) just use a PC.

Hey, what do you think you're doing referring to games with low system requirements as “shitty”?

No the game could not run on a DS. The DS has a very small amount of ram, which is the main limitation. It only has 656kb of allocated visual ram, which is just not enough to emulate any PC game made in the last 20 years.

Troll.

Well a DS doesn't function like a windows PC. With that said, SDL and openGL have been ported for the DS, but you come into major ram shortages using those systems, most people buy more ram for their DS if they want to emulate games. You can still do cool stuff, just nothing like on a PC.

That was written specifically for the DS. It isn't emulating a PC game.

Also who cares whether it's a serious gaming platform!
