Many homosexuals as well as transgenders have been discouraged by Christian fundamentalists from believing they, too, can be followers of Christ, full members of the family of God. John 3:16 says that God loved everyone so much that Jesus was given to the world and whoever believes will not perish but have eternal life. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 19:00

The answer to all three question is ``the Sussman''.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 19:33

1. That would be I, the all-powerful anonymous
2. Leah Culver often drops by
3. A culture that thrives on both trolling and meta-trolling.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 19:47

2. Gerald Jay Sussman
3. Nothing in particular.

Back to /lounge/, anus.

Name: FrozenVoid 2009-06-29 20:04

1. Given that I'm the only one who has actually shown his code (and I feel pretty confident about it), that'd be me.
2. Leah Culver posted here once. Apparently the author of SICP has visited too.
3. It's not that concerned with programming. As a result, its atmosphere is a bit easier to breath in.

Leah Culver you say! Link to thread please! Cite this stuff! You seem like a very fascinating person FrozenVoid, I should interview you for my next podcast!

How do you know this is the real Leah Culver!

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 20:32

1) FrozenVoid, without a doubt. He's proven himself time and time again, unlike the fibs and fact weenies on prog.
2) Nobody, although Leah Culver once posted here. GJS Sussman also wrote an email about prog, be AFAIK he's never posted here.
3) /prog/ has its own memes and culture, completely separate from mainland 4chan.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 20:36

She posted with the tripcode that was sent to her, in addition to hosting that .swf animation after the fact with 4chan in the URL. The only person who could have posted that would be the owner of leahculver.net and the recipient of the original email: Leah Culver herself.

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 20:45

FFS, FV is not the best programmer on /prog/. How can you even call him a programmer? Up until very recently he ONLY used javascript.

Name: !MILKRIBS4k 2009-06-29 20:52

>>14
I see!
Here's some more questions:
1. Where do you see /prog/ in 5 years!
2. How does one "troll" /prog/!
3. What percentage of /prog/ is simply trolling!
4. What is "/prog/" really all about! Is it about more than just coding and trolling!

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 20:56

1. Like /b/ is now, I predict the eternal september will begin in 2011
2. HIBT?
3. Varies from day-to-day, but remains close to 90%
4. You forgot meta-trolling, meta-meta-trolling and so on....

Name: Anonymous 2009-06-29 20:56

>>16
All these answers and more can be found by simply by discarding your obnoxious tripcode and spending a couple months posting here regularly

Also, sage.

If you took some time to actually look at it you'd realize JavaScript is an excellent programming language. But of course, you're too busy calculating Fibonacci numbers. It's a pity your applications are useless in the real world.

This is /prog/. That'd never occur to him. As we all know, programmers are the most blessed beings in the world, and nothing compares to them. Their intelligence is unmatched in human history and they're about to be MASS CANONIZED.

- Mr. Void, what is the underlying idea behind your trolling!
- I don't troll. Don't impose the rules of your society upon me, I am an nonconformist and free and will not abide by your forced principles that make no sense. Now let me post some code without any indention and in proportional font.
charflip(intc){if(c==FULL_CHAR)returnEMPTY_CHR;elsereturnFULL_CHAR;}intmain(){inti,j,c;for(i=0;i<BOARD_ROW;i++)for(j=0;j<BOARD_COL;j++)board[i][j]=EMPTY_CHR;initscr();cbreak();noecho();keypad(stdscr,1);row=col=0;while(1){boardshow();c=getch();if(c=='q')break;moveguy(c);}endwin();return0;}

1. Who is the best programmer on this board!
Not me obviously. However i can design algorithms fast, with whatever i came up with in minutes.
Whoever talks about me knowing only JavaScript: I know Qbasic and several other languages,
and there is no reason i can't learn anything i like.
___________________________________________________________
2. Does anyone famous frequent /prog/!
What gave you this delusional idea? This is only small forum on the internet.
___________________________________________________________
3. What separates /prog/ from the rest of world4ch and 4chan!
Its pretty much la neckbeard sanctuary with less idiots. Every other text board is much dumber.
Imageboards are different type of forum and cannot be compared to /prog/

P.S. To trolls who pretend to me in this thread:9/10.

Back to /lounge/, MILKRIBS.

1. Who is the best programmer on this board!
You're asking entirely the wrong questions. Nobody that utilizes an identity of any sort has worthwhile code.

2. Does anyone famous frequent /prog/!
Don't know, don't care. This isn't the place to wank over fame, unless you manage to be one of the writers of SICP. Such wanking over fame is unscientific and ultimately destructive.

3. What separates /prog/ from the rest of world4ch and 4chan!
Historically, it had no RedCream and you. It is a text board that has a healthy interest in BBCode. Most of the BBCode tricks you see on other boards originated here. I think there's much higher emphasis on trolling here than on other boards, though.

Name: !MILKRIBS4k 2009-06-30 13:38

Some more questions!
1.Whose more annoying, me or FrozenVoid!
2.What does eye-hidjibbit mean!
3.Am I an anus!
4.Where do you stand on the great debate: The forced indentation of code!

Name: FrozenVoid 2009-06-30 13:58

>>51 1.You're much less annoying then meme spewing morons2.
 2. a phonetic calque of IHJBT(acronym) meaning I Have Just Been Trolled(/prog/ slang for "I can't handle your post and i want to cry")
3.You're a person. Like every Homo Sapiens on the planet you have an anus.
4.FIOC and indentation are useless in the process of coding. For code display there is 'astyle' program which makes code pretty(however decreasing amoutn of visible on-screen code).

These creators, makers of the new, can never become obsolete, for in the arts there is no correct answer. The story of discoverers could be told in simple chronological order, since the latest science replaces what went before. But the arts are another story - a story of infinite addition. We must find order in the random flexings of the imagination.

This is a common to think <a href="http://www.bridal-weddingdresses.com/column-wedding-dress_c13">column wedding dress</a> but it is not true,  if you can’t find the<a href="http://www.bridal-weddingdresses.com/strapless-wedding-dresses_c14">strapless wedding dresses</a>you are looking for but you find a  <a href="http://www.bridal-weddingdresses.com/tea-length-wedding-dresses_c15">tea length wedding dresses</a> one which you would like customized, ask the<a href="http://www.bridal-weddingdresses.com/spring-wedding-dresses_c16"> spring wedding dresses</a> tailor and see if s/he  can do <a href="http://www.bridal-weddingdresses.com/summer-wedding-dresses_c17">summer wedding dresses</a> for you. My <a href="http://www.maternityweddingdressesshop.com" title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">maternity wedding dresses</a> boyfriend and I had been dating for almost a year and both felt the time was <a href="http://www.maternityweddingdressesshop.com" title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">maternity wedding dresses</a>right to join our lives together in holy matrimony. htmlThe month of January was spent planning our <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> perfect Alabama June wedding. My mother, two sisters and I went to Huntsville, the closest <a href="http://www.maternityweddingdressesshop.com" title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">maternity wedding dresses</a> town with a selection of bridal shops, to buy the gown that would play the leading role on my special occasion. We <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> had a wonderful time just being together and sharing silly jokes, but the <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> day soon turned serious by afternoon: still no sign of the dress of my dreams. Both sisters were ready to give <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> up and try another day in another town, but I coerced them into one more boutique.I had a good feeling as we entered the quaint little <a href="http://www.maternityweddingdressesshop.com" title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">maternity wedding dresses</a> shop filled with the scent of fresh flowers. The elderly clerk showed us several <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> beautiful gowns in my size <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> and price range, but none were right. As I opened the door to leave, the desperate shop owner announced she had one more dress in the back that was expensive and <a href="http://www.maternityweddingdressesshop.com" title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">maternity wedding dresses</a> not even my size, but perhaps I <a href="http://www.wholesale-promgowns.com " title="wholesale Wedding Dresses">wholesale prom gowns</a> might want to look at it anyway. When she brought it out, I squealed in delight.
