IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE THE LAST DISCUSSION ABOUT THIS.

Any other way is unscientific and ultimately destructive.

csh is all I'll ever need. Even tcsh is bloated with useless features like customizable completions.

init is all I'll ever need. Even h is bloated with useless features like sequential commands.

you're either lying, or you just switched from windows in the last two days and haven't realized how shitty non-free bash is compared to modern free shells.

>>13
csh doesn't work on very many platforms, isn't compatible with the bourne shell, and doesn't have the nice interactive features that tcsh has to make up for it's incompatibility with the bourne shell.

zsh > tcsh > mksh > pdksh > ash > csh > non-free shells like ksh, bash, and fish

Please review >>44.
The problem is that most Windows fonts suck majorly when it comes to glyphs outside of ASCII, and the Windows monospaced fonts do so most of all. When it tries to render >>41-42 and finds half the glyphs missing from its default monospaced font, it substitutes from a non-monospaced one without even bothering to check other installed monospaced fonts for the missing glyphs.

We hold life to be sacred, but we also know the foundation of life consists in a stream of codes not so different from the successive frames of a watchvid. Why then cannot we cut one code short here, and start another there? Is life so fragile that it can withstand no tampering? Does the sacred brook no improvement?
