You've seen the movies.
The 13 year old nerds who hack into banks, websites, etc, but can an early teen really do so much? Not only that, but how do they know how? Its not exactly rocket science, but its not posted on the net.
I know what they do, but how?
It really facinated me, and I simply want to know more about them
(not asking for a fucking guide here, but im sure you guys get the idea)

crackers are specifically people who create warez(pirated software) by cracking copy protection or DRM.
hackers hack into computer systems,or any type of software without the motive of distribution of its contents.
Script kiddies (the 13 year olds) download ready made exploits from internet and try to hack with them(without much understanding of their function:like something from movies).
If they learn the functionality, they move toward becoming hackers.
Hackers can program their own tools and exploits which they use to “leverage their core skillsets” vs exploited software.
Its not uncommon for hackers to use others tools,or code: hackers don't care about “copyright” or “patents”.

The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.
My personal opinion on this subject is that all media portraying teenage hackers are horribly outdated. Sure, hacking into something in 1980 probably was pretty easy, so even kids with some weeks of computer experience and the necessary malice and criminal intent could do it.
Nowadays, most systems are heavily protected by firewalls, IDS, enhanced kernel functionality etc. so that in most cases, years of practice and extensive knowledge are required. Oh, and thanks to all that research that went into security for the last years, it will also be pretty easy to catch up to you if you ever manage to get into something.

Bullshit. Its the minority of corporate networks who spend their money of security,
however plenty of websites are using vulnerable, outdated and easily exploitable software.

I recall 4chan once redirected to some other forum.

This was the point in that thread that I started feeling sick to my stomach since it reminded me of so many bad programmers I've seen.
I reported this bug to upstream but those ignorants didn't even respond. Didn't really expect anything else though. When you want something done you'll have to do it yourself.
Please fix ASAP.

This is still not working. Maybe you morons should test this stuff before you abuse your admin powers to hide my legitimate bugs to get better statistics for your circlejerking bug database.

Is it possible to get this fixed before the next code freeze?
