I've ordered a book and it's taking ages to ship. Google Book Search, rather suprisingly, offers a `preview' of this book, which would be good enough for me until the tree-destroyer gets shipped. Is there anything that can be done to make this thing display the whole book or at least a different subset of pages? And no, there is no ^{COOL _FREE EBOOK} version available anywhere, it's about a topic you don't know even exists.

no there isn't, do you think google would be stupid enough to scan the whole book.

It's not like it's random. In a book I were looking for, I noticed a tendency to skip pages with tables, examples and exercises. Not sure if it's because they consider the writing the good stuff, or if they're trying to make the preview less usable as a reference.
Anyway, as you'll have noticed they're doing it on purpose, so good luck hacking Google Book Search. Google's famous for their shoddy security, after all. Maybe you could try some PHP exploits or something.
