Constained Buzzwordy Retards

Name: Anonymous 2008-07-14 21:18

I have in my travels noticed a lot of this sort of thing.  It seems the natural order of things is to destroy any good system with complication until it is decayed and horrible.  For instance the idea of taking something out of a system is abhorrent and disdained.  Yet at the same time it is always shit that is added.  Even when the system can succeed or work as is.  Instead of working on increasing programmer skill the solution is to implement some new catchy buzzword system for instance.

In the evolution driven battleground of all types of systems some relics stand for ages as unbeatable.  But these systems eventually become horrible.  For in the system of life longevity is not a huge asset for survival.  Experience is not the best teacher it just drives you into ritual and rut.  The ones who truly create and drive forward are the ones who look at systems, governments, business plans, etc and think they all sucked and how to make theirs least sucky.

If you have a system that is running fine, it will eventually try to regulate its running with more layers of bullshit and not abstraction.  Most leaders will think that the true path to leadership and direction is to lead, when in fact the entire point is to come to a state where you do not have to.  Even governments, corporations etc are horribly inept at most things.  The entire system around us seems to be haphazard and programmed by Ron Penton.  The bloat, waste, stupidity, useless, parts of the system only grow.

That is why there has to be new life, to take over.  Lisp, C, C++, Java must all die horribly.  They must die and so must all practices used now in the industry.  The level of horrid shit in CS that hides the beauty is at an all time high and growing with all this common age bullshit and web 2.0, enterprise, SOA, Agile, bullcrap.

Python is shit.

Haskell's cool, though, right?

Yes, because she is already dead.

You just want less competition for the stupid words you make up.

Haskell was a male cocker-spaniel. I would know; I was the owner.

Are you another of the impostors? If so, I'd like to let you know that the /prog/ community frowns on you. Otherwise... proceed.

No, he's an impostor.

I'm sorry to have to do this, but I'll be posting with a tripcode now.

But yes, he was a male cocker-spaniel indeed.

Oh, and if you believe that someone who speaks like >>9 of his pet's death was really his owner, you need to reconsider your ways.

Haskell must have been a cockapoo. I am sure of it.

Is OP talking about Anonix? Because they're certainly going against almost all "practices used in the industry"

Ok, stop trying to impersonate me.  Haskell was female, ok?  Stop posting lies.

The Good Old Days   when the term   is prevalent in   American English and   as with many   words the term   is sometimes considered   foul language hence   the use of   closures The tuple   bit at the   moment but the   Problem is it   with people who   regularly post on   4chan and stroke.

I'm a cat. My girl doesn't like it when I purr, and always complains about my hairs in her bed.
