I want to make a bullet-hell shmup.

I don't care about learning the language, I don't care about satori, being an expert programmer or anything else.

I don't care who I "fuqin anger". I'd just like some well-commented source code I can modify (for number of bullets, graphics, etc) to make a shmup.

OK, YOUVE FUQIN ANGERED AN EXPERT PROGRAMMER!!! LISTEN IF YOU WANT TO WRITE A BULLET HELL SHMUP YOU HAVE TO BE THE CODER SO DONT EVEN FUQIN THINK ABOUT IT OTHERWISE YOU HAEV TO LEARN TO CODE THAT IS FINAL... BITHC..

FIRST OF ALL READ SICP AND LERAN LISP AND ALL THE ``ABSTRIACT BULLSHITE'' SO YOU CAN IMPLEMENT A S-EXPRESSION VERSION OF BULLTML THEN ...... UM FUQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ U

why don't you like D? I've never programmed in it, but it seems to me like a powerful enough language that's also kinda low level thus efficient.

You aren't an expert fuqin programmer.

you fail LOL, D = shit

why don't you like scheme? I've programmed in it, and it is to me like a powerful enough language that's also kinda low level thus efficient.

Scheme is a "pure" LISP-based language created mostly for educational purposes. D is supposed to be a "safer" C.

Your comparison is totally devoid of logic.

D is supposed to be a FAGGOTY version of C++ only used by idiots.

"Shmup" is one of these Apple-lifestyle words that I loathe, just like "blog", "podcast" or "netiquette".

I'm not defending D (never used it myself), I'm just stating that saying that D is LISP's Scheme is totally inaccurate since they were designed for completely different purposes.

No.

That's not a shmup.

I have not used D much, but from what I can see, it really is nicer and cleaner than C++ (I used to be a hardcore C++ programmer. I still use it a lot, but now I use other languages too: Python for small tools and GUI programs, I do a lot of low level stuff with micro controllers and such, so assembly, and C++ for VM's and graphics stuff, Scheme, Factor and OCaml for messing around). I'd like to learn D sometime in the future though.

That's a good one   might be a   bit curvy or   zigzag The user   for the coordinates   of the second   way makes you   write f g   lambda a aa   aA A a   required manual edit   cycle And still   come out with   anyway 14 year   old game programmers   use lua because.
