I want to make a bullet-hell shmup.

I don't care about learning the language, I don't care about satori, being an expert programmer or anything else.

I don't care who I "fuqin anger". I'd just like some well-commented source code I can modify (for number of bullets, graphics, etc) to make a shmup.

why don't you like D? I've never programmed in it, but it seems to me like a powerful enough language that's also kinda low level thus efficient.
