So Siebel's Google bomb worked.

What

Until today, Googling '`Lisp Tutorial`' or '`Common Lisp Tutorial`' resulted in a bunch of outdated shit. Peter Seibel, author of '`Practical Common Lisp`', said, '`This will not stand`'. He requested a Google bomb, got one, and the world is right again. I also notice that the anti-Lisp trolls are slacking off a bit today, and this cannot be coincidental.

The "trolls" are slacking off because it's becoming more and more blatantly apparent how useless Lisp is. Even that author of the beginner's programming book you hail as a bible realized how shitty it is and switched over to Python.

>>4,
you are the trolls. And then >>4 was a Ctard.

As an enlightened Lisper, I understand that the tides are shifting once again towards enlightenment and cudders. That's what SICP gives you, of course. The ability to see the big picture.

>>5
actually, SICP gives you the ability to understand the lower details in order to see the big picture

Sorry, I must have put an abstraction barrier between the details and the big picture.

>>7
You can see the big picture without seeing any details. Any high level system model will show that.

You can't create the model without the details.

You can't model the details without the SICP.

I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds positive.

Lol go back to your -ffast-math

>>6
The SICP gives you the ability to understand computing, in the broadest sense of the word. You will see the forest, the trees, the singing birds, the rainbow, the whole planet as it's being fucked by humans (esp. Americans), and the origin of the Universe, all at the same time. You picture how the Universe was created in Lisp, and understand the structure and metastructure of All. Such a knowledge is useful regardless of the programming language you use; in fact, it's above all programming languages.

>>9
And of course, one of these details is going to be related to -fomit-frame-pointer, right?
