Binary
You only need to remember 1 and 0!

No, you need to remember the instruction sets for every processor on the planet, along with their memory locations, etc., etc.

Assembly is much easier. Probably the easiest language there is.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-24 7:17

Yes, it's an easy language as far as grammar goes.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-24 7:23

Assembly lacks power of abstraction.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-24 8:02

The answer is clearly Java.

Turing, i remember making  dos blackjack for a school project, ahh it was really fun, maybe i should start programming again.

The Turing language is an insult to the memory of Alan Turing.

Now Turingol, there's a manly language.

Turbo pascal isnt that bad of a answer.

(Visual) basic. Actually nevermind, it doesn't even count in the first place.

Perl

If you have a grasp for writing, you can turn an idea into psuedo code.  From psuedo code, writing perl is a matter of formatting and using the right words.

Whitespace ftw!

That applies to any language.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-26 22:53

nothing is easy to begin with~

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-26 23:43

FORTRAN. It's the best language to use with either DirectX or OpenGL. It's also easy to learn and there's a ton of information/tutorials on using it to program games/DX/OGL.

I know, that's why it's funny.  Damn your lack of geekness!

code doesn't work. learn2perl.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-28 12:46

You can't tell if it works or not until you have spent 15 minutes looking at it. Maybe it's a perfectly Perl valid ugly hack, or maybe it's just rubbish. You can't tell until you've read the last character.

learn2perl.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-29 1:38

Only perl can parse Perl.

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-29 17:49

I have fond memories of Turbo Pascal, it was the first language I learnt, ahhh...

But go for Delphi I say, it's Pascal, but with piss easy to use IDEs

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-30 2:21 (sage)

Pascal is made of useless and crap.

Sorry. That's reserved for Java.
