Easy. One gets the lead, then bribes/assassinates officials, so they pass laws favoring his activity, until it reaches complete monopoly over every economic niche and fill government with his supporters, by rigging votes and eliminating opposition.
A good example is Russia, which started relatively free market, quickly ending in monopoly of a few Jew-backed oligarchs, who then started eliminating each other.
