And i am a student, i only get 100$ a month so 500$ a year is very much, i pay for my education, and we are 5,4 million people in denmark where 2.4 million cant find a job

Oh, and yeah, the TV license: It has the advantage of allowing ad-free TV (one less thing to insult your intelligence)...
...but they don't seem to care if you're a student with no rich parents, only a shitty laptop, nominal "broad"band and nothing else, or a billionaire with a dozen 72" TVs. The amount they demand is still the same. People take insult to this injustice semi-regularly, only to be systematically ignored by the media.

We brits also have to pay £145 for a TV license and, as a result, we have world-class TV.

A TV license would be unthinkable in the USA. Maybe someone can invent a kind of adblocker for a TV, that would be nice.
