If Republicans claim the good economy during the clinton years was thanks to congressional republicans, how come the current shitty economy isn't the fault of the congressional republicans?

Name: MacroEcon 101 2011-09-02 12:23

You're both wrong. The good economy during the clinton years was due to the rapid uptake of new (computer) technology during that period, causing the production possibilities curve of the country to increase

It was due to many innovations, of which computers were a significant but not the only proportion.

Also the end of the cold war and the opening up of the global economy.

The good economy is always from the president/congress last liked by the speaker; the bad economy is always the fault of the disliked pres/congress. Duh.

Obama has the same economic views as the Congressional Republicans of the 90s. The modern Congressional Republicans are far far removed from their predecessors. Obama has included proposals in his jobs and healthcare plans that 90s Republicans came up with but modern Republicans loathe.

Wow, I didn't know Obama was a Republican. Hehehehehahahaha! Good one dude.

Obama has the same economic views as the Congressional Republicans
How could you confuse this with "obama was a republican"? Improve your reading comprehension.

Because the truth is a foreign concept to the Right Wing.

This, the right wing in America is very irrational.

Obama, in the rest of the western world, has a voting record of that of a moderate conservative. It's no wonder why actual progressives in the United States are unhappy with him.

If derp=derp, and derpism = irpism.

Then why dont you talk about the underlying issues like an intelligent person, than the derpicans derp derped, and the derpicats derpin derpt, therefore derpedy-erpedy-erp derps derpt. Instead of derping everyone and everybody anywhere in an attempt to raise you're perceived intelligence and increase the legitimacy of you're nonexistence derp based rhetoric.

Every derpin derper will do any derping thing to avoid talking about the derping underling derpin isues. Derpstop!

Don't be a durped derper nor an erpen erper whom thinks derpicans and derpicats as well as the turpin party are derpin different, when they all clearly derpedy derp and erpendy erp the same zerpidy zerp.

Except he isn't and doesn't.
He supports NAFTA and is quite cozy with large businesses. Not terribly different from a GOP politician.

Don't change these.
