Everybody's talking about a "recession" and that "raising the debt ceiling" will save America. That's BULLSHIT.
A recession is basically harsh times. This, on the other hand, is America having spendt so INCREDIBLY PARIS HILTON much money on attacking random countries, that they have used up BOTH all the money they had AND all the money they could EVER borrow.
There ain't no recovering from this one. What makes a "developing nation" is basically so huge loans to the industrial nations that they're just paying interest. When the basically imaginary "debt ceiling" is raised, Americas spending will NOT stop there, because they STILL have their occupations to fund, and they STILL have a new CONSTITUTIONAL wellfare system to support that only Bush could have thought was economically sound.
You're going DOWN, America, and you're gonna STAY down!
FUCK YEAH!
A couple of years from now I'm gonna have myself an imported american slave to suck my dick and torture, and every time she gets nosey, I'll remind her that she fucking voted for Bush.

That's why it's called a debt CEILING. Throughout history the US has been borrowing money from China, together with Japan, the United Kingdom and Brazil. This was made under the guise that the US would at MOST borrow a set number of trillion dollars. With the US now having raised its own limit for how much it can borrow, wanting even MORE money, it has passed its roles as a lender, and entered its role as a leech, as it comes into question whether or not the US will ever pay back what it has borrowed, and if it can ever be trusted with money and investments. After this limit has been passed, the US is therefore at the MERCY of China and its buddies, who could basically say "Hey US, this is Japan. We want to buy Hawaii from you, with your debt. We want to plant a big fat bronze middle finger in the middle of Pearl Harbor. Also, California is looking pretty good too.".

China doesn't have overpopulation. It's been on the news recently, China apparently doesn't have enough young people to do the labour they're so good at (Nike shoes, tv's, etc). So it is possible that their economy will fall due to population ageing.

China's problem isn't even overpopulation,it's that a large portion of their GDP and "growth" is smoke and mirrors. Being an authoritarian regime, the Chinese leaders can just order their people to build something in the middle of nowhere regardless of demand and call it growth, when in reality the products hold little to no actual value. The second China is held accountable for it's practices, it's going to experience an economic collapse the likes of which the world has ever seen.

I heard Obama said in his speech that no matter what institute lowers their rating, America is still a triple-A country.
That denial tactic was a hilariously stupid strategy, because we've seen Obama fight the congress from day one, and we know the budget cuts are very real, but I don't really get what's so AAA about America right now, and outright LYING about America going down, isn't exactly inspiring trust in whatever investors would still be doubting Americas collapse.

That's false, as Bush's spending was legendary. Obama's spending doesn't even come close, but the kicker is that much of "Obama's spending" is Bush's fault as well:
Bush spent so much money so poorly, that the states are STILL paying for it, and will pay for it for years to come. Obama is still paying Bush's bill, like paying support for troops that Bush started a war with, and paying for a wellfare system that Bush wrote into the constitution.
Obama would actually have stopped all the spending within a couple of months after coming into power, if it wasn't for Bush's republicans voting his budget down.
The monetary system depends on debt in order to create money. As money gets destroyed from debt liquidation, it becomes inevitable that a money shortage occurs. People who are insisting they obtain more money, yet that debts must be cleared, can not achieve their goal, in the macro-economic sense.

>>69 The Tea Party didn't create the debts
No, but the Republican Party did (along with Democrats). Honestly, American politics would be more interesting if the Tea Party movement coalesced and became an actual third party, like the Green Party or the Libertarian Party, and completely disassociated themselves from both mainline parties. Not this brain-damaged faux party that assimilated into the Republican Party, and made the whole political scene more ass-backwards than it already is. but they are making the children behave.
By being mental children themselves? Yeah, that's works well. Your blame game seems obviously political.
It's not a blame game. It's more of being aware and stating facts. The Republican Party has been incapable of balancing a budget, or having any sort of sane stance on anything for the past 45 years or so. Decades of shit government doesn't magically disappear overnight, and having a different party in control of government for a few measly years doesn't magically fix that, either. Even the damage Reagan has caused has yet to be healed, and as long as the GOP stays in power and continues to be the morons they are, it won't ever be.
Ok, I'll oblige you. Name the policies that Bush set in place that forced Obama to increase the deficit by three fold. List them for me. I'm looking forward to your explanation on how Bush forced Obama to bailout the mega-corporations (suspiciously the ones that funded his campaign) and how he managed to force Obama to enact a job-creation stimulus that cost almost $300,000 per job created.
I'll also point out some hilariously incorrect assumptions you've made about me.
a) I'm not a Republican, I'm a Libertarian. I don't support Bush at all, in fact I dislike him almost as much as Obama, and my attack on Obama could only be interpreted as a defense of Bush by GOLDEN idiots such as yourself.
b) I'm not American. It's not my country that is crumbling.

For an uncontrolled stock market crash to occur, the market has to pass certain "hurdles" in the form of stages where lots of stocks are bought for some reason.
Last week the market passed the beliefs and hopes of serious investors who believed that it couldn't possibly get any worse, yesterday it passed automated failsafes of computer systems, and today the time has come for the last stand of the insider investors, who are currently buying lots of stocks. The stock market crash will be a fact just a few days after this.
To all north americans: You only have a couple of days left to stock up on guns and ammo before the price of them starts to rise, because when this gets ugly, you may have to defend your lives.
Let's say that instead of Bush assuming power, Bin Laden was put in power, and he actively tried to ruin America. (I actually don't think president Bin Laden would go beyond perhaps strengthening the relations with the middle east, but let's say he's every bit as evil as state propaganda tries to portray him as.) What would Bin Laden do in order to ruin America? He would try to waste away all its money through clumpsy random wars and expensive projects while saying that weakening "the great Satan/beast" was good for the people, but he would lack the family contacts to do so, so would you north americans have voted for BIN LADEN, you would be better off!
